What God Says About Yahoo Yahoo or Cybercrime

Published

on

Exodus 20: 15 “Thou shall not steal

What has now come to be known in Nigeria as yahoo yahoo, internet fraud or cybercrime actually has no other name than stealing. Stealing is stealing and has no other name other what God gave it. A yahoo boy, like satan, his father, is a thief, a destroyer and a killer!
Yahoo Yahoo is a satanic creation. It is a sin. A sin with huge implications that travel through generations.
It is a means of defrauding people by pretense, lies, impersonation using satan’s most lethal tool, sex, to achieve romance scams etcetera.
It is a two-way communication. The yahoo yahoo boy is engaged in sin-stealing and he knows it and sometimes, the recipients on the other side are sinners who respond to the yahoo boy’s manipulations and prompting because of lust.
Most times, however, the innocent ones are beguiled into thinking that they are rendering help to charity organisations or a cause only to be defrauded.
To begin with, indulgence in cybercrime is a result of lack of trust in God and more than anything else, absence of the fear of God in us.

Yahoo Yahoo boys in action

One yahoo boy once boasted of how he continually milked a German automobile heiress of millions of euros. He claimed he made the woman sell all the assets willed to her by her late father until there was only one building left.
While this was going on, the yahoo boy or thief was busy buying houses in Nigeria and Ghana and was hailed as the richest man in his home town.
When this German automobile manufacturing heiress, who was hooked to a romance scam, realised she had been fleeced of an entire family wealth amassed in generations, she wrote a suicide note to her so called lover in Ghana saying she was going to commit suicide. The fraudster encouraged her to do so as the only option left and she did!
The implication of this evil act is huge. The repercussion will run in the so-called yahoo boy’s family for generations and even his unborn children will suffer for this grievous act.

What the Bible Says

Most yahoo boys are known to flourish with ill-gotten wealth and sooner than later, wither like dry leaves! Every single item purchased: landed property, houses, cars, huge bank accounts will be sold one after the other until nothing is left.
Poverty will set in because their work is of the devil and the devil really has no power to give anything except stolen items.
God warns in Ephesians 4: 28 that “Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need”.
At the end of the day, it is what Ecclesiastes 1:2 calls “Vanity of vanities”, says the preacher. “Vanity of vanities! All is vanity”. Proverbs 10: 2 says “Treasures of wickedness and ill-gotten gains do not profit, but righteousness and moral integrity in daily life rescues from death”.

Repentance

2 Corinthians 5:17 says: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new”

Do you know that no matter the level of sin you commit, as soon as you repent totally, you become a new creature? Your sins will be forgiven automatically, then you begin to do the work of the kingdom of God. That is how merciful and loving our God is.
When you start doing something useful and Godly with your own hands, following the teachings of Jesus Christ, you will see, nobody will tell you that Jesus has taken over your life. It will be evident as long as you stay away from sin.

A yahoo yahoo boy can take the first step by saying this prayer after which you find a Christian church to attend regularly. Please do not go back to this crime with generational consequences afterwards.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I come to you today. I am a sinner; I cannot help myself. Forgive me my sin. Cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from sin and satan, to serve the living God.
Today, Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Now I know I am born again!

If you said this prayer, you are now born again. Find a Christian Church and start attending church services. Join some groups in the church and truly start serving God and see how his light will shine upon your life!

Remain blessed of the Lord.

Newly Confirmed US Secretary of State Vows to Promote Gay, Lesbian Agenda

*To fly gay pride flags at embassies around the world

The newly confirmed U.S. secretary of state has vowed to support the LGBT agenda by flying pride flags at United States embassies and resurrecting the “special envoy for the human rights of LGBTI persons.”
Antony Blinken, who was confirmed 78-22 by the United States Senate Tuesday, shared his thoughts about LGBT issues during his Senate confirmation hearing last week, which took place before President Joe Biden took office.
As he questioned Blinken, Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said, “You and President-elect Biden have indicated that you’re going to support, appoint a new special envoy for human rights on LGBTI people, a position that I’ve been pushing to make permanent through the International Human Rights Defense Act.” As a presidential candidate, Biden vowed to make LGBT activism a centerpiece of his foreign policy.
“After four years of Trump administration efforts to specifically marginalize, minimize, do damage to the rights of the LGBTI people, I think it’s going to be vital to appoint a seasoned expert on this issues. Are you going to move forward towards a speedy appointment towards an LGBTI envoy and would you consider raising it to an ambassadorial level?” Markey asked.
Blinken answered in the affirmative: “This is a matter, I think, of some real urgency, we’ve seen violence directed against LGBTQI people around the world increase. We’ve seen, I believe, the highest number of murders of transgender people, particularly women of color, that we’ve seen ever and so I think the United States playing the role that it should be playing in standing up for and defending the rights of LGBTQI people is something the Department is going to take on and take on immediately.”
Markey also asked Blinken if he would “repudiate the findings of the report of the Commission on Unalienable Rights and reaffirm the United States’ acceptance and adherence to the human rights laid out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights” and whether he would “ensure that ambassadors are able to fly the pride … flag at our embassies around the world.”
“Yes to both,” Blinken replied.
The Commission on Unalienable Rights was created by the State Department under then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in July 2019. In a press conference announcing the State Department Commission, the secretary of state argued that “international institutions designed and built to protect human rights have drifted from their original mission.” According to Pompeo, “As human rights claims have proliferated, some claims have come into tension with one another, provoking questions about which rights are entitled to gain respect.”
Democrats and progressive advocacy groups quickly criticized the move to create the commission, warning that it constituted an attempt to remove LGBT rights and abortion from the consensus definition of human rights. During the Trump administration, the United States signed the Geneva Consensus Declaration, which declared that “there is no international right to abortion.”

Seek God for Solution to Nigeria’s challenges, Okowa urges Nigerians

Published

on

By

Delta Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, on Monday urged Nigerians to seek God’s face for solution to the litany of challenges, especially economic and security, plaguing the country.
Okowa made the call at a Special Thanksgiving Service by him and his family at the Government House Chapel, Asaba.
He stated that insecurity and the persisting downturn in the economy of the nation appeared to be overwhelming relevant authorities, adding that God’s intervention through intensive supplications by citizens was required for respite on the issues.
“There is insecurity in the land and Delta is not an exception but God will continue to intervene.
“The present insecurity in the country is greater than the presidency and the governors; it requires God’s intervention, and therefore, we must continue to pray for God to intervene.
“We are here to give thanks again because not too long ago, I had thanksgiving. The Lord has been faithful and remains faithful to me, my family and Delta State.
“I recognise the many challenges of this year. We saw something we had not seen before; it’s COVID-19 and it’s still on.
“At a time people thought it was about going, but the second wave is back all over the world and Nigeria is not spared. There is reason to give thanks to God over our lives because a lot of people are dying daily.
“As Nigerians, we have not seen what people are seeing in those parts of the world being ravaged by the pandemic. His grace abounds and has continued to sustain us and we do not need to take it for granted.
“The COVID-19 has impacted negatively on our economy and beyond all these, we are still alive. God has kept us,’’ he said.
The governor recalled that many things happened in the course of the year, but said that as with religious injunction, “in all things, we must give thanks to God’’.
He prayed that God would continue to touch every life in Delta as He has touched his family.
“When all hope is lost, He makes a way out of every predicament that we find ourselves.
“It is always good to be hopeful in the Lord and trust in his ways to turn things around for our good.”
Okowa appealed to Deltans, including leaders to continue to partner each other in the interest of the state.
He advised that people in positions should endeavour to be servants of the public, saying “it is important that wherever we are, we are called to serve and not to be a boss. It is only by God’s grace that I am privileged to be the governor; it could have been anyone else.
“Let us continue to work collectively as partners to ensure that we impact on the lives of Deltans.
“It is my prayer daily that God will continue to grant me the wisdom to lead by example so that others will be encouraged to live rightly.’’
He thanked Deltans for their support and prayers and assured that he would continue to leverage on their support as he steered the ship of state.
The governor hinted that the second wave of COVID-19 had hit the state and warned the people to be cautious.
He advised that citizens must fully return to wearing of the mask and maintaining of physical distancing, saying “for the churches, the second wave has come and we must all wear masks; just two days ago we had 10 positive cases in one day here in Delta.
“As we enter the festive season, we must continue to obey all the preventive protocols and we must limit public gatherings. We are not stopping people from going to church but they must wear mask.’’
He commended the outgoing local government councils chairmen in the state for their efforts in enthroning good governance and appealed to Deltans to pardon them for their shortcomings.
According to Okowa, “21 out of the 25 local government councils cannot pay salaries without being assisted by the state government, so when all they generate cannot pay salaries there is nothing they could have done; so, please pardon them because it’s not their fault.
Chaplain of the Government House Chapel, Venerable Charles Osemenam, in a sermon titled “The mystery of thanksgiving” said Christ expected us to give Him thanks all the time.
He said when we thanked God for any situation, He made things better.
Making reference to Bible verse of Luke 17: 11-19 which talks about the healing of 10 lepers by Jesus Christ, but only one returned to praise God, Osemenam said “it is important that we reflect on the question, `where are the nine?’
He said that God expected us to show appreciation at all times, adding that when you thank God from the depth of your heart, doors would be opened to you and insufficiency would turn to overflowing abundance.
“Thanksgiving makes stars out of nobody and let me remind us that a proud man does not give thanks and doesn’t show appreciation to God or to man.
“Thanksgiving makes for perfection and when you show gratitude for the little received, God multiplies it,” he added.
Wife of the Deputy Governor, Dr Ebiere Otuaro; Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori; Chief Judge of the State, Justice Marshall Umukoro; former Deputy Governor, Chief Benjamin Elue and former Acting Governor, Rt. Hon. Sam Obi, top government functionaries and traditional rulers attended the service.
